Visa Waiver

If you are traveling on business or pleasure and are a citizen of 35 specific countries, you may not need a visa but will be able to enter the United States on the Visa Waiver Program. One specific criteria that may make you eligible to travel on the Visa Waiver Program is:

  • Your planned stay in the United States must be less than 90 days.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Department of Homeland Security implemented the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) that is accessible via Internet for eligible citizens of Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries to apply for advance authorization to travel to the United States. The purpose of ESTA is to allow Department of Homeland Security to pre-screen all Visa Waiver applicants before you travel to the United States.

Visitor Visa (B1/B2) is the ONLY visa waived under this program. Check the VWP Country list first. If your country is not on the list, go to Visitor Visa.
